Nevertheless, im really happy!! yayyy Got myself some ugly bruises at the knee but its worth it alright:) Shall blog some pictures of the team soon.. Thank you Lord. I have been running around the entire day and i feel so tired!! Anyway, tomorrow's bball finals and we are facing the sea of orange. Haha hope their support is not too overwhelming. And hope everything goes well for us:) Blogging from tor's laptop cos mine's down and i think its quite permanent. Only a couple of days before i enter adulthood:( And after tomorrow, ill get down to some serious studying..i promise.

Gosh i should be sleeping now but i am still wide awake. This is pretty rare of me because my sleeping hour is close to 12 but its already 5am!! It has been a busy day with training and meeting and its going to be a longer day ahead with both of that and tuition! I was reminded of my new year resolutions a while ago and i realised i am not acheiving any of it. Oh dear, i think i seriously need to do something about it. Anyway, there's something significant to blog about today and that is key and i walked all the way back from science fac to hall today after our general bio lessons! For your information, that's 6 bus stops apart. But we visited bazaars in between! And Amazingly, the very deprived shopaholics(from the lack of time to hit town) over here still derive much joy from school bazaars and in fact, many pretty things caught our attention!!haha cheap thrills:) All in all, it was a really relaxing walk, something much needed amidst the packed schedule of ours. And i love the way we just kept talking like there's no tomorrow and the distance didnt seem that long at all. See, nothing is unbearable with great company:)

sometimes it just feels really depressing seeing the ugly sides of people and the world in general. nothing much really makes me genuinely happy these days. everyday as i stepped in my room, i heaved a sigh of relief cos its finally the time of the day when i get to rest. My 21st is around the corner and im just too busy to even plan for a party. Many considerations: some of my closest friends are abroad. my mum probably has to spend quite a bit. having cliques of people to mingle around with each other may be quite a huge problem. the clash of date with an ihg match. im too busy to properly plan for one. the settling of food,place,invites etc etc. anyway, the list goes on. argh if only i was born later then probably i wouldnt dread the fact that my birthday is nearing and im not looking forward to it at all, or at least for now. anyway im feeling down and pessismistic and i blame it on pms. And i miss home.

hello world:) settling the exchange stuff can get really fustrating!! whats with the transfer of credits, the european credit system, half term nonsense, availability of courses subjected to the season of the yr, and worse still, course descriptions are in swedish!!!!! im having a difficult time making sense of everything and i think id better call up the nus econs coordinator on monday. anyway, ive hardly updated this cyberspace of mine and as usual im going to blame it on my very packed schedule; school has started and im taking 6 modules this semester plus all the ihg matches and trainings. i think i really overload myself this semester. Oh!! we're facing the bananas tomorrow..haha think yellow. i dont only want to win them but i hope we will win them by a large margin. we will we will we will. And i started my first tuition assignment for the year which is not too shabby considering the distance(at dover!)from school and the pay's pretty reasonable for market rate. so yeahyeah, hope ill be disciplined enough to save more so that ill be able to travel to some parts europe during exchange and ya im dying to step into paris!! Steph showed me her photos of touring europe(she went to 7 parts by the way!!)and the scenery there is a.w.e.s.o.m.e. even plain majestic buildings there speak wonders of beauty. goshh,someone fly me there now!!!! And ya, sch has just started and ive a submission on monday. wth man? anyway, ive better get down to settling my exchange stuff and get some work done. Hopefully, ill get to update here more often..

My application for sep is successful and its a double joy because its Lund University together with zes!! Shiping and Huimin are also heading there too!! I almost jumped up the ceiling when i saw my application status! What great news to start a new sem with. I just hope that all other procedures would fall into place and dear Sweden, here we comeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee:)

several ups and downs for the new year.. UPS: quite a few answered prayers..Thank God!! Darrel has been coaching the team and i really appreciate his efforts and time as he has his own ihg and ivp games/trgs too! Disappointed intially that huihui cant play for us but now my junior has decided to stay. Weather for today's training was great! Received a call from a tuition agency regarding a really promising and potential assignment(just hoping ill clinch it now)
Feel loved and remembered by close girl friends whom i Thank God for because what will i do without them right!! especially zes, becks, key, jan, steph!! And thanks steph sweets for sending a surprise all the way from US..victoria secret's bathing package! Its the thought that matters so much you know. Felt so touched reading zes's xmas card. bestfriends love* Also received another card for xmas which was one of the sweetest ever received. And the rest: key. my new found love in 2006:)) becks: what would uni life be without you man. jan: thanks for the friend i found in you. I hope i can be there for you during both gd and bad times. hugz.
and of course, there are the downs which i feel like leaving out for now. but anyway, lovely memories are meant to be remembered and kept.

Happy New Year!! Mine was quite well spent. I went to church with mum in the morning and its been a long time since a worship service really touched me. I enjoyed the service thoroughly and it was all good; mainly reflecting on the goodness of God and his blessings unto me in the past year. It made me realise that God's grace has been evident in my life in many ways. I really dont deserve it. Anyway, i had lunch with mum and brother at our fave chicken rice place in commonwealth before i went home for a short nap. After a short half an hr or so, I dragged myself out of bed to meet ty and later key&barry. We watched charlotte's web and headed to nydc for dinner&desserts. We wanted to go to loof to chill out but it was full house!! And then we tried new asia bar which was quite packed too and the coverage was already 50 per head. What a pity!! These 2 bars have gorgeous views overlooking the city area of Singapore..especially the later!!!! But nevermind anyway, we just wanted a place to sit and chill out so we checked out chijmes and settled for le baroque. The music was rocking good! And douglas O band was there to entertain. Flying dutchman was in the house too. We photowhored, drank, chilled out, enjoyed the music and danced to our hearts content. And it was definitely embarassing having to be called up on stage by douglas O to do something stupid. i thought my 1st and last of such moments were at TH bash where i was made to catwalk with shades!! Haha..well, alright, all in the name of fun:) Anyway, we reached back close to 5 before i hit the sack soon after i bathed. What a great night with awesome company! Thanks babe and dudes!! haha
