What a well spent evening catching up with abby and tracy.
We had dinner at sushi tei and spent some good 2hrs plus there eating and talking about everything-from ny days to sec 2 memories to boys to food to love life to common friends to teachers to sales to schools to siblings. Basically we talked so much after not seeing each other for some time!
Then we left for menotti where we had half priced desserts! And i finally got home close to twelve. Thats considerably late because i sleep so early these days.
i need a getaway from singapore....

Man's best friend.
i swear little trevor is too horny tonight. This might even be an understatement. He jumped on my bed and started licking me all over. From my toes to my legs, every part of my face, my neck ,my arms, my earS, even my hair..and he still cant stop even when i tried to shun him. And i infer that either my body foam smells good, or this little puppy is terribly in need of some love, or the other way-he thinks i need some love.
OH NO HES STARTING AGAIN!!!

oh my..adding charlene to the list from my previous entry..she's interning in kpmg next week! Another good ol buddy to eat and catch up with:)yayyy
And im dead tired! I actually survived a 5 hr meeting today!!! It was supposed to be 3 hrs only but it dragged on...and ended up being 2 hours more.
Then i met becks in town after that for dinner and some shopping. Told you i am a superwoman!! I have been surviving over 12 hrs of heels and make up everyday, so much so my legs feel like they will break any time and my face will rot and decompose.
well, im talking nonsense already. It must be time to wash off and sleep!

some things just don't change
Interning at shentonway can be such a delight! I look forward to lunch hour everyday and spend it with either colleagues or friends working/interning in that area-which happens to be quite a number of them!! theres joanne working at citibank, andrea dade working at kpmg, tor interning at ocbc, zes interning at ernst&young, alison interning at deutsche bank and becks who's starting intern at spore technologies next week. And they are all really near me. It's such a good catching up opportunity, really. Especially when work is busy and long hours and you get out of the office when the sun has already set and darkness has set in, when there is absolutely no time for people and yourself on weekdays...meeting up for lunch with these people is like a daily treat:)
anyway, im so glad i got to see joanne today! Abeit a short time, we kept talking non-stop over lunch and caught up quite a fair bit. I miss that girl! my childhood buddy and still is one. Some things just don't change. There are things of the past that we hold on to and won't ever forget, that we keep reminiscing and it remains in us and with us and becomes part of us.
time to hit the sack.

cos im a busy superwoman..
Day 2(uhh no im not planning to blog everyday)of internship has been even better. Since yesterday, I have been given my own desk, a laptop to use and a transponder to go around the floor. Unlike yesterday, Im glad ive work to do today and enough work to occupy my mind and time such that i dont look at my watch every now and then, hoping that 615 would come soon. I'd rather be too occupied then not to be occupied at all, boredom kills me. You must be thinking im such a weirdo huh. I was just sharing with jan the other day that i realised im busy at every stage of my uni life. During the previous december holidays, I would be too occupied with part time work and IHG trainings every single day. When school term began, my schedule was packed with either school, tuition, driving or committee work. And my packed schedule meant that i had activities happening back to back most of the day and week. So now that my may hols had begun, just as any other uni student would rejoice at the thought of the 3 month break, my internship has also started in early may and will end in early august(fyi thats when the new school semester is starting). And that's also when ill be flying off to the land of the happiest people in the world. So ill be working my ass off till then. No rest no rest no rest AT ALL!
But dont get me wrong. Loving to be busy doesnt mean i hate relaxation. In fact, i always look forward to days that i can relax and do my own things. That also equates to shoppping(in all forms), going out and hanging out with people i love, eating nice treats and the list goes on.
The bottom line?? I love to be busy in all aspects, busy with relaxing(paradoxical?), busy with work and busy with life in general.
And now i wonder why i just robbed 20mins of my bedtime typing an entry like this.
well anyway, i look forward to tomorrow!

let me take a breather
its only day1 of internship and im feeling quite tired already! Guess its also largely due to the lack of sleep over the weekend that has just passed. somehow it feels like the end of the week to me..HAHAHA look at what work has done to me. i hope ill survive the week and the next three months. And i hope ill survive tomorrow because 830am-615pm is work and ill have to rush down to my tutee's place and stay there till 9pm.
but day1 aint too bad. cheap and good lunch. helpful and friendly colleagues. inviting and cosy workplace. i hope it stays this way. strutting down shentonway streets in heels feels good too..well, somehow. hahaha
i should cut down on my food intake. i ate some oily ingredients w rice for lunch,lapis for tea,super oily mee/yakult/ice cream for dinner. ohh dearrr no wonder i can feel all the oil in my tummy:(
im going to wash up now and hit the sack. record breaking early sleeping time of the year..10am!!

im back home for good and im starting to miss hall life already. i shall dedicate an entry about it with pictures the next time:) its not all bad to be home though-being able to see my family, having trevor's company, home-cooked meals and of course enjoying the comforts of my cosy room.
well well, im lying on my bed and typing this, as i take occasional glances at trevor's whos lying on the floor and sleeping like a baby. And once in a while, he will rub his paws against his face, stretch his tiny limbs and roll about on the ground while he sleeps the night away. you know,sometimes.. i just want to squeeeeeeeeze him dry. HAHA too cute!

how having integrity can actually cause one to be on the losing end at times and this happened to me today.
but it sure didnt help when you confide in people you trust and they tell you in the face that you're dumb to do what you've done..it didnt make me feel better and i dont need to hear these remarks.

exams are over for me! This exam period has been tough; getting sick and having bad encounter with difficult papers...well well, so it didnt end on a good note but nevertheless, its over and ill just see how my results goes. 3 months holidays are here to stay..whooopee!
